Located in the hills of the Chianti region, near Castellina-in-Chianti, Anti-co Pod ere Marciano looks directly out over the spectacular panorama of the Val d’Elsa. The landscape seen from its wide terraces seems as if it were lifted straight off a Tuscan postcard – gently sloping hills dotted with cypresses, castles and stone farm houses surrounded by vineyards spread out into the distance, where you can also see the outlined spires of the famous towers of San Gimignano.

Considering the dimensions and the internal layout of the villa, Antico Podere Marciano is the ideal location for groups or families that want to spend a holiday in a self-catering holiday accommodation, sharing the garden, and the swimming pool with the owners, who live about 20 mt. from the main building.

This finely restored villa is perfect for a relaxing holiday in a spectacular area of Tuscany characterized by vineyards and fantastic panoramas.The villa has 6 double rooms restored in a simple and refined style; each room has its own en-suite bathroom. On the groundfloor: large living-room with fireplace, bar – equipped with professional espresso and cappuccino machine- , armchairs, comfrotable sofa; a dining-room with a central oval table, professional kitchen with a 6-rings stove, professional oven, one large and two small fridges, professional automatic dishwasher, cutter, toaster and a wide stainless steel surface.

Also the swimming-pool has its own style: located in a panoramic position, it is stone-built and the water completely fills the depth of the pool and spills over the edge, Inside the swimming pool you can relax while seated on a stone bench equipped with hydro-massage plant.Next to the villa, approx. 20 mt., is the proprietor’s stone house. We will be glad of helping guest enjoy their holiday, without intruding their privacy. Upon request, before arrival, several extra services are available: you can have a breakfast buffet and skilfully prepared local dishes for dinner. Also pre-arrival shopping and extra maid service are available.
