The B&B goes back to the end of 1980s, it's situated on the east side of Porto Cesareo, called Il Poggio , and it's in plenty Mediterranean brush.
It's about 1,5 km far from the center of the town. In 2009 we renovated the interior and exterior of the construction, which welcome the customer in a real intimate and familiar air, where harmony and balance reign among the enchanting nature. The warm colors of the rooms will let you live the rhythm of Africa, the distinguishing mark of Salento: You will feel at your own home .

The B&B Chalet del mare is a family business: Armida has grown in the tourism thanks to her family. As she always tell everyone: I love this job because it lets you get in touch with different traditions and cultures and gives everybody the possibility to know this wonderful land, its history and its tastes . Ivan takes care of garden and the customers welcoming. He wishes them to feel in their own home. He's got three big loves: animals, sports and nature. The B&B Chalet del Mare is one of his particular passion, the wish of sharing it with his family and everybody who will come and visit us. Roberta is the chef . She cooks tarts, cakes and ring-shaped cakes to delight the tastes of each customers and not only.... but most of all she likes to stay with children and her dream is to become famous as Laura Pausini (Roberta's got a Very Beautiful Voice). Francesco is the Jolly, for every need he gives a total disposition. A real paladin for the safeguard of the B&B! And at last Maria and Giuseppe (they would seem two characters of Holy Bible, wouldn't they?). They are our parents, the mainstay of B&B. I am of the opinion that our breakfast is excellent because they take good care to prepare it.

The Rates includes:

• breakfast with buffet (from 8.30 am to 10.30 am)
• change of linen twice a week on demand
• dayly towels change
• use of garden
• water and electricity consumption
• free stay for babies under 3 years

• Bycicle hire € 5,00
• Barbecue hire € 5,00.

General conditions:

• The Breakfast is from 8.00 am to 10.30 am in the living room. Possible needs after hours must be communicated in time to head office.
• It is forbidden to introduce animals
• No smoking
• The change of linen is every 3-4 days from arrival, as fixed by the Regional Law. Possible extra change costs Euro 15,00.
• The room will be cleaned each day. Possible extra clean costs Euro 20,00.
• The third additional bed costs € 20,00.
• It is permitted to smoke outdoor in the garden and where indicated.
• You must observe a proportionate silence from 11.00 pm to 8.00 am. During the day you must preserve a suitable behaviour in respect tp the quiet of the customers.
• You must keep cleaned and ordered the indoor and outdoor areas.
• Possible damages to the B&B and/or for improper use of the complementary objects must be indemnified.
• At departure, you must hand the key-room back.
