Our vacation rental is new, freshly built house (finished June 2006) located in a strategic point of western Sicily, Trappeto, in the Goulf of Castellamare. The beautiful and typical Sicilian style house is well-equipped, spacious and comfortable with cosy atmosphere. The house has two floors + a garage for holding two cars. On the first floor is a kitchen welcoming You with traditional local dishes, a commodious living-room, balcony with a table and seats, and a bathroom. On the second floor are three bedrooms (one with double bed and access to a balcony, second with bunk bed, third with a single bed and access to a balcony), a big hallway and a bathroom. The three balconies overlook the sea and mountains.

Our vacation rental is in the center of the sea-town of Trappeto 20 min from the airport of Falcone e Borsellino. Set on the border between the provinces of Palermo and Trapani, Trappeto offers the visitors unforgettable sceneries, from warm and sandy beaches to the shores dropping to the sea, through suggestive itineraries rich in archeological and natural beauties, in the typical Mediterranean climate of the island, which holds the record of sun in Europe.
The house is 250 meters from the sea and five minutes walk to the main sandy beach. The house is close to different shops, bars and restaurants. Moreover, local fishermen and farmers sell fresh seafood, biological fruits and vegetables just a few steps from the house. Upon request, it is possible to enjoy typical Sicilian kitchen cooked by us in a typical cottage in the countryside or order traditional local products (such as locally produced olive oil, marmelade of fig and peach, tomato sauce, caponata, dried tomatoes under olive oil, aubergines with vinegar, pesto of tomatoes and basil etc).

The house is very close to various main touristic areas of Sicily (it is extremely easy to access places like the capital Palermo, Monreale, Segesta temple and amphitheatre, Erice, different magical islands such as the islands of Eolie from Trapani, the island of Ustica from Palermo, fabulous natural reserves such as lo Zingaro, Capo Gallo etc). Trappeto itself is not yet a truly touristic town, but a perfect place for experiencing the real traditional Sicilian life. It is a point of relaxation while exploring the touristic attractions of sunny Sicily.
