The former approx. 100 years old farm "Le Caprinaie" with baking-oven and the neighboring house "Capanna" — free standing in the middle of nature — on 15.000 m2, 1,5 km from Badia A Ruoti, was reconditioned with much expenditure and love.

The surrounding area covers not only a large swimming pool (26x9m), but also several groups of seats for cozy staying. Furthermore the main house has a Cantina (approx. 70 m2 with kitchen), where the dinner is served and that can be used by all guests.

The special Ambiente of this house, as well as the small romantic surrounding villages or the famous culture places such as Firenze, Arezzo and Siena gives you the opportunity for a unique experience vacation with recovery and surely beautiful lasting memories!

Accommodations:

All housing units are heat able and completely equipped. Domestic animals are permitted.

Living kitchen with open fire-place, 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large library.

Small Apartment (max 4 persons - approx. 67 m2)

Kitchen with dining corner and living room (not separated), bedroom and bath. The apartment is obstruct fair and suitably for wheelchair users.

Activities:

Painting: The first step to participate in a painting course as a layman is sometimes connected with some inhibitions. Our lady of the house paints, gives courses and above all is happy to show somebody who is interested how to paint! Swimming: Not only our large pool makes desire on swimming. Approx. 9km far away is the thermal bath "Rapolano Terme". Since January 2005 there is also a very beautiful indoor swimming pool at Rapolano. Mountain bike / Bicycle riding: The Chianti permits cozy bicycle riding just like mountain bike riding. There are beautiful routes off the main streets along quiet valleys and large vineyards. You can bring your own bicycle, or rent a bicycle from us.

By car you drive the "Autostrada del Sole" (A1 Milan - Rome) and use the exit San Giovanni Valdarno. Then drive towards Siena/Levane/Bucine/Ambra. At Ambra turn left to Badia A Ruoti. At Badia A Ruoti drive by the village and turn left to
