Villa Velia is located on a high ridge overlooking the town of Monterosso and the entire Angitola valley in the province of Vibo Valentia- Calabria (Italy) with views of the lake and the sea. The tower is the most dramatic feature of the estate and evokes the tower in nearby Monterosso. Villa Velia offers individual rooms as well as suites for families that include kitchen facilities, all with private baths.

Antiques decorate the rooms which are simple yet elegant in style. From all the rooms and common areas, guests enjoy views of the garden or more distant vistas of the lovely surrounding countryside. The most glorious moment of the day can be enjoyed from the tower at sunset and on clear days may include an amazing view of the volcanoes at Stromboli in the Aeolian islands and Etna in Sicily.

In the Restaurant and Tasting room at Villa Velia, you can sample the local agricultural products of our own farmhouse and explore the delights of the best cuisine of Calabria . For our guests we offer food that accent the ancient flavors of the Angitola Valley. At Villa Velia, the luxurious atmosphere is conductive to total relaxation.
