Named for the nobleman from Todi, Roberto Robertona, who built the tower as a summer residence in the 14th Century. Located on a hill overlooking the beautiful and lush Tiber River plain, across the Tiber from the hill on which Todi is perched, Torre Bertona is at the same time ‘out in the country’ and ‘freeway close’.

Decorated with furnishings from four centuries, we are sure you will enjoy the stylish, ecclesiastic ambiance of the apartment. The apartment is on 2 floors. 1 queen-size canopy bedroom and 1 bedroom with twin beds. 2 baths with shower.

We were especially taken by the 17th century structure’s positioning atop its own bridge with a bubbling brook running beneath from the hillside woodlands.

The hills surrounding Lucca are considered by many to be among the best olive-growing regions anywhere and produce a very unique olive oil. Each year, we personally select and bottle a limited quantity of extra virgin olive oil directly from local farms, and now Il Mulino di Torrigiani is proud to offer this distinctive, world-class Extra Virgin Olive Oil for shipment by UPS directly to your door.
