Our vacation apartments are located in Corrido, province Como, Lombardy, in between Lake Lugano (3km) and Lake Como (12km). Corrido is a small, northern Italian village, with four tiny sections. It is nestled on the plateau above Porlezza and the Menaggina Valley and enjoys the privilege of a South exposure with a late sundown.

Casa Sanio is in Vesetto, the main section of Corrido. The other ‘sections’ are called Cancellino, Biccagno and Molzano. Casa Sanio offers modern, cozy vacation apartments with equipped kitchen, living room, bedroom, balcony as well as bathroom. All apartments have TV and wireless Internet access.

If one loves nature and sports Corrido and its vast surroundings offer numerous outdoor adventures. The mountainous area allows hikers, climbers, mountain bikers as well as bikers to discover the beauty of its mountains and views. Lake Lugano and Lake Como, both of which are close by do not lack their share of activities.

The area around Corrido and surrounding valleys is a paradise for anyone who appreciates nature. Enjoy the mountains, their beauty and solitude on your bike. From Corrido you can bike up the mountains on trails. They are all over around the Lake and offer opportunities to all levels from beginners to professionals.

It does not matter if you choose a relaxed walk, an easy climb, simply want to hike around the trails, up and down the hills in order to enjoy the mountains from its bottom or prefer to stand on top of each peak and breath the refreshing air and admire the spectacular view, Corrido is a perfect starting point. Lecco, a most appreciated climbing area for climbers is only 40km from Corrido.

The boat trip across Lake Como from Menaggio to Varenna onto the land route to Lecco, or the drive along Lake Como are alone worth a day’s journey. Lake Lugano and especially close by Lake Como are beloved spots for windsurfers, kiters and sailors because of their exceptional wind conditions. The thermal wind “Breva” supplies Lake Como from May to September and its water temperature is around 24 Celsius. Domaso, a surfer’s heavens on Lake Como is merely 30km from Corrido.
