The organic farm holiday “Podere La Branda” is situated at the slopes of Mount Fogliano, along the Via Cassia, 10 kilometers away from Lake Vico and 60 away from Rome.
This farm holiday, born very recently, is extremely close to the Tuscia’s main centers of cultural interest: Viterbo, with its medieval district and its thermal baths, Tarquinia and Norchia with their Etruscan necropolis, Soriano nel Cimino with its Orsini castle, Lake Bolsena, S. Martino al Cimino with its Pamphilij palace, Caprarola, Sutri and other splendid medieval villages.

The hamlet of Tre Croci is just 500 metres away from the entrance of the farm, and it offers the following services: a chemist, a post office, a general store, a grocer’s shop, a newsagent, and the train station which provides the link with Rome (stazione S. Pietro) in just 45 minutes, and a link with Viterbo in 5 minutes.

The family business, extended over an area of 100 hectares, produces, through biological means, wheat, extra-virgin olive oil, nuts, potatoes, fruit and fresh vegetables. In our artisan laboratory these products are transformed to offer you a country tomato vegetable purée; in oil groceries; sauces; raspberry, fig, wild pear, sambuco, plum, corbezzolo and apricot jams; all of which you have the opportunity to taste in our selling point.
Moreover, in the canteen, you can participate in the escorted wine tasting of local wine and wines of other farm businesses, which have been accurately selected. On demand, you can participate in courses of typical cuisine and high level gastronomy.

The business also proposes itself as a didactic farm and its area is available for small events and educational courses supplied with computers and technological equipment.

The old farmhouses, which were once used as shelters for animals and as areas to store products and tools, have been finely restored and rebuilt. Five independent apartments have been obtained, each providing all sorts of comforts and still bearing up the original characteristic walls of local stone.
Starting in May 2006, you will also have the opportunity to relax by having a soothing swim in our pool.
